What do I need to use it?

An active Uberall account and an AI client that supports remote MCP servers over streamable HTTP, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code.

Can my assistant change data without asking?

Only four tools write data, and they're marked as write tools so your client can ask before running them. Most clients ask by default. Every call runs with your own Uberall permissions, and fields you can't edit are dropped and reported back.

OAuth or API key?

Use OAuth: your browser opens the Uberall login and there's no key to manage. API_ADMIN users can send their private server key as a bearer token instead.

Why am I asked to sign in again?

Token refresh isn't supported yet, so sessions expire after a period of inactivity. Signing in again restores access.

Can I try it on test data?

Yes. Connect to https://mcp.sandbox.uberall.com/mcp to work with non-production data.
